- If you manually enter your location within the app.
This helps us suggest nearby halal restaurants.

If you contact us through the app, by email, or social media, we may collect your name, contact details, and the content of your message.
1.3 Information Automatically Collected
When you use the Tayyib App, we automatically collect certain information to support app functionality and improve performance. This may include:
Usage Information:
Such as the pages or content you view, click on or share, the clickstream patterns and length of time spent on each site as well as searches you conduct, loyalty features you interact with (e.g., stamps collected), and any actions taken.
Log Data and Device Information:
Such as details about how you've used the app, IP address, access dates and times, hardware and software information, device type, device event information, unique identifiers, crash data, and the pages you have viewed or engaged with.
Technical Information:
We may collect technical information about your phone such as device type, OS version, and language settings.
NFC Activation Requirement:
In order to collect loyalty stamps using NFC, users must manually activate the NFC function on their mobile device. We may record the interaction, including timestamp, loyalty card ID, and location data (if permitted), when an NFC stamp is collected.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
- Enable you to search for halal restaurants based on your location or preferences
- Manage and track loyalty cards and reward eligibility
- Allow the use of NFC for collecting stamps and updating loyalty cards (only after user enables NFC on their device)
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Improve the user experience and overall performance of the Tayyib App
- Detect, prevent, and address misuse, fraud, or technical issues
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following cases:
- With restaurants you visit through the loyalty program, to validate rewards or promotional eligibility
- With service providers who help operate our app (e.g., analytics, cloud storage) under strict confidentiality

We take appropriate security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Your Choices
- You can stop using the app at any time and delete it from your device
- You can request deletion of your loyalty card data for specific restaurants by contacting us at tayyib@tayyibapp.ca

6. Children's Privacy
The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
